What Does a Standard UFC Contract Actually Pay?
Most UFC contracts are built around two numbers: a show payment guaranteed for making weight and stepping into the cage, and a win bonus paid only if the fighter wins, typically set at roughly the same amount as the show money. A fighter might be contracted for $20,000 to show and $20,000 to win, meaning a loss nets $20,000 and a win nets $40,000 before any additional bonuses.
Entry-level fighters generally see $12,000 to $20,000 to show, matched by an equal win bonus. Ranked contenders headlining Fight Night cards or filling out numbered event main cards typically earn $50,000 to $150,000 per fight. These figures are base contract terms and do not include bonuses, sponsorship income, or, for a small number of fighters, revenue-share arrangements.
