The agreement

Zimakk is published free of charge for anyone to read. Using the site means accepting the terms below; if any of them are unacceptable to you, the remedy is simply not to use it.

We keep this document short and in plain language on purpose. Nothing here is intended to surprise you.

What you may do with our content

The articles, images, graphics, page design and code on this site are owned by or licensed to the operator of Zimakk and protected by copyright.

Freely permitted, no request needed:

  • Reading, printing and saving pages for your own use
  • Sharing links to any page anywhere
  • Quoting a short extract with attribution and a link back to the page
  • Citing the site in academic, journalistic or educational work

Requires our written permission:

  • Republishing an article in whole or in substantial part, anywhere
  • Translating our content into another language
  • Any commercial use, including use in a paid product or service
  • Systematic copying, scraping or bulk extraction, whether by a person or a program
  • Using our content to train a machine learning model

Using the site fairly

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site or with other people’s use of it. That means no attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the infrastructure, no automated traffic designed to degrade performance, no circumvention of security measures, and no use of the site for anything unlawful.

Automated crawling for legitimate search indexing is welcome. Crawling that ignores our robots directives or places disproportionate load on the site is not.

Explanation is not advice

Everything on Zimakk is general editorial explanation. It is not professional advice of any kind — not medical, not legal, not financial, not training or nutritional guidance — and it is not tailored to your circumstances.

Two specific points, because sports publishing invites both misreadings. Nothing on this site is betting or gambling advice; we do not publish tips, predictions presented as guidance, or odds analysis, and none of our content should be treated as a basis for a wager. And nothing about training methods, equipment or physical preparation is a recommendation for you personally — where a piece touches physical performance, speak to a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.

Accuracy and what we do not promise

We take accuracy seriously, correct errors when they are identified, and note corrections on the page. What we cannot promise is perfection.

The site and its content are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that content is complete, current, or free of error, that rules and regulations we describe have not since changed, or that the site will be available without interruption. Where a piece describes how a competition, format or regulation works, it describes it as we understood it at the time of writing.

We link to third-party sites where they are useful. Those sites are not under our control, we do not endorse their content by linking to it, and we are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data. Following an external link is your decision and their terms then apply.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of Zimakk and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here, including lost profit, lost data, or loss arising from decisions taken on the basis of our content.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may add to, alter or withdraw content at any time, and we may revise these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Hungarian law, and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction over any such dispute. This does not remove any protection available to you under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
